On Thursday, June 26, 2025, diaNEOsis organized the seventh thematic session of its series of events on the planned constitutional revision, under the title \u201cSocial State.\u201d<\/strong> The event took the form of an open conference, aiming to provide a systematic presentation and public discussion of key issues concerning the social state and its constitutional foundations.<\/p>\n

The session was moderated by Professor Patrina Paparrigopoulou<\/strong>, Professor of Public Law at the Law School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), with opening remarks delivered by Dionysis Nikolaou<\/strong>, General Director of diaNEOsis.<\/p>\n

The event included two discussion panels and a roundtable. The first panel featured distinguished academics including Platon Thinios<\/strong>, Theodora Antoniou<\/strong>, Andreas Tsourouflis<\/strong>, and Panagiotis Liargovas<\/strong>, coordinated by Ioannis Sarmas<\/strong>. The second panel hosted Angelos Stergiou<\/strong>, Olga Zygoura<\/strong>, Konstantinos Efentakis<\/strong>, and Iraklis Paterakis<\/strong>, moderated by Panagiotis Tsakloglou<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Professor Konstantinos Kremalis<\/strong>, Emeritus Professor of Social Security Law at the Law School of NKUA and Managing Partner at KREMALIS Law Firm<\/strong>, participated in the roundtable, contributing his extensive expertise and insights on the operation and challenges of the social state. The roundtable also included Stamatina Giannakourou<\/strong>, Artemis Anagnostou-Dedouli<\/strong>, and Panagiotis Xenos<\/strong>, enriching the discussion with diverse academic and professional perspectives.<\/p>\n
