In Greece \u202fa Joint Ministerial Decision implemented the 2020 EU Mobility Directive into domestic law \u202fas of 12 April<\/span>\u202f<\/span>2022. The Joint Ministerial Decision amends the\u00a0previous\u00a0Greek Presidential Decrees and\u00a0laws that regulated the posting of workers in\u00a0the\u00a0road transport sector. It\u00a0introduces the new obligations and definitions of the Mobility Directive, specifying the applicability of the Posted Workers Directive in cases of cabotage. The Ministerial Decision also regulates the\u00a0competent\u00a0local authorities\u2019\u00a0application of the new posting obligations. In addition, it\u00a0provides for\u202fconcerted roadside checks on drivers and vehicles falling within the scope of\u00a0the regulations, setting administrative sanctions\u00a0where\u00a0the driver\u00a0fails to\u00a0produce\u00a0all the required documents.
