Kremalis holds the title of Supreme Court Attorney at Law. He practices in the areas of Labour and Employment Law, Social Security Law, Insurance and Health Law issues. He is the Managing Partner at <strong>KREMALIS-<em>Law Firm<\/em>,<\/strong>\u00a0which is the exclusive for Greece member of Ius Laboris Global Human Resources Lawyers.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2011, Prof. em. Dr. Konstantinos D. Kremalis is\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.amcham.gr\/insurance-social-security-labour-matters-committee\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"alternate noopener\">Director of the Insurance, Social Security &amp; Labor Affairs Committee of the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce (Amcham) (2011- )\u00a0<\/a>and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.omed.gr\/el\/kremalis-kwnstantinos\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"alternate noopener\">Arbitrator in the Greek Board of Mediators and Arbitrators (1990- )<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>He was awarded\u00a0Ph.D.\u00a0with Magna cum Laude in 1976\u00a0in the area of Labour Law, presenting the thesis \u201cThe contractual part of the collective labour agreements\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>He has taught National, European and International Law of Social Security, Health and Welfare at the Law Department of Athens University for pre and postgraduate students, as well as at the Catholic University of Leuven, the University of Paris II (Panth\u00e9on-Assas), the University of Rome, the University of Munich, the University of Tilburg, the University of Edinburgh, and the Kansai University of Osaka, among others.<\/p>\n<p>After writing his monograph \u201cThe social insurance of dependent workers \u2013 Impacts from Labour Law rules\u201d (Habil.) (1982), he became associate professor in 1983, substitute professor in 1987 and, from 1991 until 2014 full professor at the Law School of Athens University.\u00a0He has been visiting Professor at the European Institute of Public Administration\u00a0and a Fulbright Research Scholar at\u00a0Minnesota and Illinois Universities in the United States of America (1994).<\/p>\n<p>He is the author of teaching books, such as: \u201cThe Health Law\u201d vol. 1 and 2 (2011), International Encyclopaedia of Laws, (2002, 2014), \u201cConsultations of Social Law\u201d (2000 and 2010), \u201cSocial Security Law\u201d, as well as the author of many scientific works, many of which have been translated and published abroad.<\/p>\n<p>Professor em. Dr. Kremalis has participated at several experts and law-drafting committees, playing a key role in the major employment, private insurance and social security law reforms. He contributes on a regular basis as a university expert and offers legal advice to several Ministries and organizations.<\/p>\n<p>He has been assigned as an independent expert for the national reports in the European project TRESS (2005-2013) regarding \u201ctraining and networking on the European Co-ordination of social security systems\u201d. \u00a0He is a member of the Scientific Board Participant of the European Law Revue \u201cEuropean Step (1989-). International Arbitrator of the Special Panel on OHR (Office of the High Representative) arbitrations assigned by the European Court of Arbitration (2017-2018).
